Senior Security Engineer

Marcus Donald are currently looking to identify an experienced Senior Security Engineer with a good Cloud Security background to join a very popular and well-known Financial Services company in London.

Flexible working: 3 days from home / 2 days from London (minimum).

Responsibilities & Job Role:

• Define and develop cloud security engineering
• Own the roadmap for security tools and technology
• Builds and maintain tools and integrations for the in-house SOC
• Assess company security proposed deployment of and/or integration with Software-as-a-service SaaS solutions
• Secure usage of multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud platforms

Technical Skills Required:

• 3+ years of experience in Cyber Security focused technical roles
• Experience with AWS (needs to have secured an AWS Environment)
• Experience with technical security in at least one cloud environment (ideally AWS however, Azure or GCP is OK)
• Windows and/or Linux operating systems and system administration
• Understanding of networking (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP)
• Competency with scripting is required, especially Python and PowerShell
