Role:
Due to expansion, our client seeks a Security Engineer to join their team. This role offers a hybrid work model, requiring presence at their City office three days per week.

Skills:
We are seeking a high-caliber individual with a strong background in Security Engineering, ideally holding a degree in a security-related field such as network engineering, computer science, penetration testing, or digital forensics. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise across various security domains including network, cloud, infrastructure, email, and endpoint security.
To be considered, candidates must demonstrate solid administration experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Microsoft Defender Stack (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps (CASB), Azure MFA, Azure, QROC/QRadar, Microsoft Defender for Office 365)
  • Vulnerability Management Optimisation at scale in an enterprise environment (e.g., Kenna, VM/Cisco Vulnerability Management, Nucleus, Rapid 7, Armis, or similar platforms)
  • Mimecast Email security gateways OnDMARC/DKIM/SPF, Varonis DatAdvantage, Darktrace

Responsibilities:
As part of a dynamic team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting vulnerability management, including participation in automation projects
  • Serving as the SME in Vulnerability Management and engaging in Stakeholder and Remediation management
  • Performing vendor assessments and technical security risk reviews
  • Contributing to the technical design of security systems and solutions while managing associated risks
  • Daily administration of multiple security platforms
  • Collaborating with Change Control for the implementation of new solutions and ongoing system upgrades
