IT Service Desk Analyst

Marcus Donald are currently looking for an IT Service Desk Analyst to join a private Education organization in the Midlands.

You will be working remotely for now; however, they would like to know that a future employee would be able to commute into the office when/if needed. With the office being in the Midlands, naturally, living within a commutable distance to the Midlands would be ideal. Being willing to commute into the office at least 2 days per week will be expected.

IT Service Desk Analyst – Responsibilities:

• Respond to and track all incoming calls, emails, and IT enquiries to the Service Desk.
• Resolving Incidents at the first point of contact, where possible, or accurately assigning to other relevant teams.
• Provide timely and accurate information to customers
• Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of technologies used within the business.
• Ensuring that all user issues are managed effectively and efficiently.
• Take ownership of ad hoc tasks when required.

IT Service Desk Analyst – Skills:

• Good working knowledge of current versions of MS Office and Microsoft Windows
• Active Directory (basic)
• Previous experience of ITIL Incident Management Process
• Understanding of Microsoft products including Office365
• Good communication skills both verbal and written

IT Service Desk Analyst – Desired:

• Past/current experience with Citrix
