Description
Marcus Donald are currently looking for an IT Service Desk Analyst to join a private Education organization in Cheshire.
You will be working remotely for now; however, they would like to know that a future employee would be able to commute into the office when/if needed. With the office being in Cheshire, naturally, living within a commutable distance to Cheshire would be ideal. Being willing to commute into the office at least 2 days per week will be expected.
IT Service Desk Analyst – Responsibilities:
- Respond to and track all incoming calls, emails, and IT enquiries to the Service Desk.
- Resolving Incidents at the first point of contact, where possible, or accurately assigning to other relevant teams.
- Provide timely and accurate information to customers
- Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of technologies used within the business.
- Ensuring that all user issues are managed effectively and efficiently.
- Take ownership of ad hoc tasks when required.
IT Service Desk Analyst – Skills:
- Good working knowledge of current versions of MS Office and Microsoft Windows
- Active Directory (basic)
- Previous experience of ITIL Incident Management Process
- Understanding of Microsoft products including Office365
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
IT Service Desk Analyst – Desired:
- Past/current experience with Citrix
