Senior DevOps Engineer

A nationwide Government department is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the team on a range of Greenfield projects. The DevOps team has been growing from strength-to-strength year on year and is supporting one of the biggest Gov projects in the UK right now.

The role will eventually require some commuting to Canary Wharf but at the moment it is fully remote.

The type of Senior DevOps Engineer they’re looking for is someone with a diverse skill-set. Good experience in Microsoft Azure is the preferred option here along with Azure DevOps with YAML, Terraform for IaC and experience working with Kubernetes. AKS would be handy.

Technical skills required for the Senior DevOps Engineer:

• Azure DevOps with YAML
• Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
• Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience with a wide range of Azure offerings and services
• Software development background (Desirable)

Rate: £650 - £800 P/D Inside IR35
Location: Canary Wharf/Remote
Contract length: 6 months rolling
