Splunk Security Specialist

Marcus Donald are currently looking to source a Splunk Security Specialist on behalf of a globally known organisation in Luxembourg. We are looking for a Splunk expert to join a strong Security team in Luxembourg on a permanent basis.

This is a specialised role which primarily involves developing and improving their Splunk environment. In addition, the successful candidate will also be expected to develop existing security technological controls, through to the research and implementation of industry specific cyber security technologies, standards and processes.

Naturally remote working is available for the initial period however, the availability to work from the Luxembourg office in the near future is required.

We are ideally looking for candidates living and working within an EU member state already. Relocation assistance will be supported by the client and Marcus Donald People.

Splunk Security Specialist - The Role & Responsibilities:

• Development of Splunk Architecture
• Developing and improving Enterprise Splunk environment
• Developing cyber security strategy
• Work with Architecture to turn strategy into operational roadmaps and project plans
• Provide cyber security expertise to lead and support security and business change portfolios
• Splunk upgrades experience
• Experienced in large scale environments
• Monitoring and maintaining Splunk infrastructure
• Automation of Splunk installation processes

Splunk Security Specialist - Advantageous:

• French speaking however, fluent English is OK.
• Expert level Splunk experience and certifications
• Security certifications (e.g. CISSP / CISM)
• Solution design skills
• Stakeholder management
