Marcus Donald are now searching for a Cyber Security Analyst to join a client who have offices based across the UK.

This is a great opportunity to enter the world of Information & Cyber Security for a global organisation with a new, ever-growing team.

In this role my client are looking for someone with 1st/2nd line experience and a passion for Cyber Security to assist with the Information Security team going forward, using your technical expertise to assist with their ongoing efforts in implementing ISO 27001.

Key Skills as Cyber Security Analyst

• 1st/2nd Line Support experience
• Microsoft suite (Office 365, Intune, Mimecast all great to have)
• Reviewing technical proposals
• Responding to tickets
• Escalating issues/incidents
• Helpdesk & Incident Management experience
• Examining customer/supplier schedules

Key Responsibilities as Cyber Security Analyst

• Conducting IT risk assessments
• Getting hands on experience with ISO 27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials and GDPR
• Producing reports, plans and presenting information to a variety of audiences
• Aligning business practice and processes with information security policies
• Maintaining asset registers and liaising with the business to ensure they are actively maintained
• Liaising with various teams to ensure actual and suspected Information Security incidents are carried out according to policy and that records are maintained and followed up to completion
• Ensuring that Information Security capabilities are regularly tested including incident handling, penetration testing, threat & vulnerability testing, business continuity and disaster recovery
• Evaluating, procuring and deploying security-related solutions which are aligned with policy requirements and business needs
