Information Security Manager

Marcus Donald are searching for an Information Security Manager to join a client based in Brighton.

In this role you will act as the main point of contact for all IT Security & Data Protection enquiries as well as coordinate and administrate security matters across the business.

Within this role comes the need to travel to client sites so a valid driver’s license is essential.

Key Skills as Information Security Manager

• Working for the MoD or British Army (Essential)
• The ability to obtain SC Clearance (Essential)
• ISO 27001/Cyber Essentials experience
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Performing Risk Assessments
• Performing Business Impact Analysis
• Risk Management Accreditation Document sets (RMADS)
• Managing company data assets
• Developing and maintaining security policies and procedures
• Any Information & Cyber Security certifications (Desirable)

Key Responsibilities as Information Security Manager

• Maintaining RMADS and security risk assessments for systems to support accreditations
• Assisting with security administration including security clearance paperwork and NSV
• Maintaining knowledge and horizon scan current and future MoD and other UK Government security requirements
• Assisting with maintenance of the accreditation of systems
• Assisting with the development and delivery of security training & awareness to employees
• Reviewing, updating, and generating company security operating procedures
• Maintaining relevant Codes of Connection and ensure continued approval for such connections
