Marcus Donald are now searching for an Information Compliance Officer to join a client based in Central London on a Fixed Term Contract.

In this role you will be responsible for coordinating responses to information requests to ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Skills as Information Compliance Officer

• DPA 2018
• GDPR
• Dealing with FOIA requests
• Dealing with SAR’s
• Reviewing and advising colleagues on Data Protection Impact Assessments

Key Responsibilities as Information Compliance Officer

• Supplying replies to incoming enquires on routine and complex compliance issues involving DPA, GDPR & FOIA related legislations
• Reviewing responses to requests for information and ensuring that managers and colleagues are consulted
• Collating information and preparing responses within legal deadlines
• Ensuring that responses comply with legal requirements
• Logging and assessing reported data breaches in a timely manager
• Escalating serious breaches as appropriate
• Ensuring that actions and advice in dealing with requests are fully recorded and documented
• Advising colleagues on data protection clauses in contracts and other legal documents
• Delivering regular training on information compliance issues
