Marcus Donald are currently looking for a Software Developer to a client in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Digital Solutions and Services Department (DSSD) within the Change Hub supports the operations of these schemes by providing software development and support services. 

You will develop, and support applications to scheme requirements, work closely with the PM, providing a technical and application perspective throughout the project lifecycle, suggest and implement improvements to the application development process, such as continuous integration, automation of build, deploy and text etc. 

Key skills required for Software Developer: 

• Microsoft .NET (C#) 
• SQL Server Development 
• ASP.Net MVC 
• Test Driven Development Agile Scrum (TDD) 
• Agile Methodologies 
• Object-Oriented Design 
• JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React)
• Microservices 

Desirable skills: 

• Azure PaaS/ Cloud Technologies 
• Web API 
• Docker 

Responsibilities for Software Developer: 

• Development, maintenance and support of key scheme applications 
• Technical documentation of key business applications 
• Technical ownership of application requirements 
• Ensure that business applications developed internally and externally are technically and functionally suitable for the client
