Marcus Donald are looking for an Information Security Assurance Manager to join a client based in Farringdon.

In this role you will protect the organisations data by providing the assurance that the appropriate tools, controls, policies and procedures are in place to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the firm's data in line with Information Security principles such as ISO 27001 & CE+.

Key Skills as Information Security Assurance Manager

• Firewalls
• Penetration Testing
• Knowledge around principles such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, NIST, GDPR etc.
• Infrastructure knowledge
• Understanding of security operations
• Working with end users
• Major incident handling
• Vulnerability and threat management

Key Responsibilities as Information Security Assurance Manager

• Maintaining a risk register and assist with internal and external audits relating to InfoSec
• Assisting in annual reviews of supplier Information Security processes
• Ensuring that policies are in place and that operational procedures and assurance measures are fully implemented
• Understand the threats, risks, vulnerabilities and evolving attacks vectors facing the business
• Ensure facilities are in place to monitor attacks, intrusions and unusual activity
• Ensure response procedures are in place to provide timely reports that facilitate analysis of risk and continuous improvement
• Ensure the management of vulnerability analysis and pen testing are risk assessed and implemented in a timely manner
• Acting with colleagues to ensure security breaches are dealt with in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate logs of security events
• Conducting security investigations
• Establish ongoing and active testing framework including pen testing, incident simulation and measures that will verify and assure that all arrangements are fit for purpose
