Marcus Donald are now searching for an Information Security Lead to join a client based in Farringdon.

In this role you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining their ISMS, ensuring that information assets and associated technology, applications, systems, infrastructure and processes are robustly protected in the digital ecosystem in which they operate.

Prior experience implementing ISO 27001 can be greatly beneficial for this position.

Key Responsibilities as Information Security Lead

• Embedding policies, standards and guidelines into operational practices
• Helping drive forward the business’ compliance programme
• Aligning the business with ISO 27001
• Developing & maintaining information risk assessments
• Working with Data Privacy colleagues to maintain data asset registers
• Supporting technology teams in evaluating, procuring and deploying security-related solutions
• Identifying security vulnerabilities
• Investigating suspected and actual breaches of security
• Coordinating IT security training courses and awareness programmes for the business
• Providing reports on the status of security risks
• Developing metrics and reporting tools that measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the ISMS
• Carrying out internal audit actions, assuring ongoing compliance
• Ensuring the incident management capability remains well functioning
