Marcus Donald are searching for a Senior Cyber Security Consultant to join a client based near Ashford, Kent.

In this role you will be leading a small team and integrating security into all aspects of the business. My client is looking for a passionate, effective communicator who is able to advise on technical requirements at a high level for ease of understanding for non-technical employees and stakeholders.

This is a very technical role that will give you the opportunity to use the latest cutting-edge technology in a very collaborative, fast moving environment.

Occasional travel will be required for this position so a valid passport and the ability to travel within Europe will be essential to be considered.

• Azure
• SIEM tools
• Darktrace
• Pen Testing
• Gap identification
• Offensive security experience
• Blue Team experience
• Python Scripting (Advantageous)
• Financial background (Advantageous)
• Penetration Testing Certifications (Advantageous)
• MITRE framework (Desirable)

Key Responsibilities as a Senior Cyber Security Consultant          

• Organising and taking part in penetration tests
• Liaising with stakeholders and other employees across the business
• Assisting in the migration over to the Azure cloud platform
• Looking over the security lifecycle, testing systems and getting involved with lots of configurations
• Web app testing, OWASP Web & API
• Covering regular awareness training sessions
• Working collaboratively with the wider IT & Governance teams
