Marcus Donald are now searching for an Information Security Officer to join a client in Central London.

This role will be 50% technical and 50% policy driven with a Network background being greatly beneficial.

One of the first projects you will be tasked with in this role is implementing CyberEssentials+ with other projects on the horizon.

Key Skills for Information Security Officer

• Firewalls
• Policies, procedures and standards
• Implementing Cyber Essentials+
• GDPR
• Experience working as an Information Security Officer in previous roles
• CISSP, CISM or CISA (Advantageous)

Key Responsibilities for Information Security Officer

• Penetration test remediation planning
• Companywide security auditing
• Implementing CyberEssentials+ with help from colleagues
• Ensuring the business remains complaint in all areas and making sure the business are in line with GDPR practices
• Service Desk management for IT resources
• Updating corporate security policies and creating new policies and procedures
• System Administration work with Network team

This role carries the potential to eventually head up the IT Security function within the business and due to this, requires an expert Information Security professional to take the reins.
