Marcus Donald are currently looking for a Head of Information Security to join a Legal client based in Bank.  

Key Skills required for Head of Information Security:

• Strong information, cybersecurity and risk management experience, a global stewardship mindset and a talent for navigating cultural nuances to create the right outcomes.
• A self-starter with results-driven approach and a desire to win, with strong business acumen and commercial focus. Takes on challenges and manages risk.
• Great leadership and relationship management that delivers results through effective teamwork, great communication and strong stakeholder focused relationships.
• An innovative approach to problem-solving, a good multi-tasker, open to ideas and uses feedback to improve approach and outcomes.
• Combination of detail orientation and big-picture thinking, able to develop strategy and translate this into business plans that deliver the right outcomes.
• Experience in talent and succession planning and building and coaching a strong team bench.
• Certified IS Auditor or Certified Information Security Manager.

Responsibilities required for Head of Information Security:

• Track record in a senior InfoSec role, within an enterprise environment
• Cloud experience essential 
• Technical experience with enterprise-scale network and firewall architectures
• Excellent knowledge of current IT issues and government (or sensitive organizations such as financial services) assurance policies
• CISM (or similar) certified or working towards a relevant certification
• Skilled with Windows operating systems, networking and TCP/IP
• Extensive experience with vulnerability scanning and auditing tools
• Line management skills, alongside the ability to build senior relationships and drive change in an Agile environment
