Marcus Donald are currently looking for an Information Security Manager to join a construction client based in Surrey.  

Key Skills required for Information Security Manager:

• Minimum 3 years' experience with Information Security Management
• ISO 27001 Implementation/Auditing background
• Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as ISO27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, Cyber Essentials and ITIL
• Working knowledge of GDPR compliance, data protection, and data breach planning
• Broad understanding of enterprise-level IT systems and solutions
• Developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
• Confidence working with outsourced teams and within cloud architecture
• Well-developed interpersonal, relationship and communication skills in both formal and informal settings

Responsibilities required for Information Security Manager:

• Drive the Security strategy to implement, deliver, track and manage performance metrics and methods to improve effectiveness to strengthen their Security posture aligned with ISO27001.
• Build effective relationships and achieve co-operation from others, whilst being able to work independently and thrive working under pressure to achieve business objectives.
• Incident management, threat and vulnerability management, risk tolerance setting, recommend treatment and recovery plans, and calculation of residual risk.
• manage the Information Security policies and procedures aligned to the business goals and monitor compliance throughout the regional business units.
