A Financial Services client in Central London is looking to bring on board a Data Engineer to join their innovation team. This individual will have extensive strong development experience with ideally Python but also open to someone who uses Spark or Scala. A Data Engineer would benefit from experience with multiple AWS offerings.

This Data Engineer will be collaborating with global teams to enhance their data platform using the best in class technologies. This is a good opportunity for someone to define the technical architecture of a large-scale application.

Essential Skills for the Data Engineer:

• 3 years+ experience with Python, Spark or Scala
• Experience with AWS such as Cloudformation, API Gateway, Lambdas, S3 etc
• Experience with Graph Databases such as Gremlin or Neo4j

Desirable Skills for the Data Engineer:

• Natural Language Processing
• Machine Learning
• Deep Learning
• Distributional Semantics
