Learning & Development Consultant 

Marcus Donald are currently looking for a Training Lead to join a leading education provider in Farringdon on a 12 months' fixed term contract. 

You will lead the training for a large-scale programme and ensure the training strategy is delivered. You’ll create required documentation, and implement, deliver and assess training outcomes. 

These responsibilities will extend across internal staff from a variety of different departments, contractors, and our customers. The role will enhance employees’ skills, performance, productivity and quality of work.

Responsibilities required for Learning & Development Consultant:

  • Identify and assess future and current training needs through impact analysis, and consultation with line managers
  • Draw an overall training plan that addresses needs and expectations
  • Create training material based on system, business process and other content
  • Deploy a wide variety of training methods appropriate for the proposed training content
  • Plan and Conduct effective training sessions
  • Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, and report on them
  • Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
  • Work with the business, change managers and business analysts to identify amendments to training materials and plan these
  • Evaluate As Is and To Be processes on an ongoing basis to surface ongoing training needs

Skills required for Learning & Development Consultant: 

  • Proven experience at training manager level
  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to lead a project and/or team
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
  • Good computer and database skills

 **Please note this a 12 month’s fixed term contract**
