Description
2rd Line Support Engineer
Marcus Donald are currently seeking a 2rd Line Support Engineer to join a software company based in North London. As a 2rd Line Support Engineer, you will be responsible for working alongside the Support Services team to provide high quality support to both internal and external customers and troubleshooting a variety of network and Infrastructure issues.
Ideally, my client is seeking an individual with experience working for a software company however this is not essential.
Key responsibilities for the 2rd Line Support Engineer
- Network troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Create and manage user G-Suite accounts
- Handling customer infrastructure alerts that affect system BAU operations
- Being part of an extended hours call rota
- 2rd Line Support for all clients Infrastructure software issues
- Manage customer expectations and report back in a timely / professional fashion
- Monitor backups and carry out restore tasks
- Assist with the running of the company ERP solutions
- Ensure reliable and consistent user experience for both internal and external customers
Key skills required for the 2rd Line Support Engineer
- An excellent communicator over the phone, via email and face to face
- Being productive and efficient
- Windows Server 2003 - 2012
- Office 365
- G-Suite
- Windows 7-10
- Networking – DNS, DHCP, RDS or Wireless
- Hardware support and troubleshooting
- Anti-Virus
