Business Analyst

Marcus Donald People are currently looking for a Business Analyst for a Financial client based in Dublin, Ireland. We are seeking an experienced BA who has previously worked within the highly regulated Banking industry is required, on 12-month FTC, with a view to extend.
 
The focus of this role would be to implement a strategic data consumption layer to improve the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the data (trades, positions, risk) that drives regulatory reporting.
 
You will be heavily involved with a very important Risk & Regulatory project therefore, experience and knowledge of the regulation, supervision and risk management of Banks is required.
 
** Fully Remote but must be reside in Ireland **
** 12-Month Fixed Term Contract / €85,000 - €95,000 **
 
Business Analyst – Required:

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience (ideally within the financial industry)
• Experience on project deliverables with large technology components (including data analysis) and reporting.
• Experience with business analysis and project delivery within Regulatory Reporting in Capital Markets
• Good experience in Agile Project Delivery / experience of Agile & Waterfall projects
• Understand the Software Development Life Cycle
• Possesses analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• SQL experience would be a big bonus
• Great communication skills and previous stakeholder management experience
• Experience delivering projects with large technology components (including data piping) and reporting.

This role requires often communication and collaboration with different teams across the business, such as Developers, Senior tech leaders and more.
