Data Scientist

Marcus Donald is currently looking for a Data Scientist for a globally known Financial company, you will be working on developing cutting-edge models and working with state-of-the-art technologies like Azure Synapse, Snowflake, data bricks, and Azure Data Factory.
 
**£500 - £600 Outside IR35**
**1 or 2 days in the London offices – 6-month contract**
 
Data Scientist responsibilities:

• Extract valuable insights from large datasets using advanced machine-learning techniques.
• Build bespoke machine learning models to drive data-driven decisions and enhance our entertainment offerings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into data science solutions.
• Utilize tools such as Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory for data processing and analysis.
• Communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively

 
Data Scientist Technical Skills:
 

• Proven experience in advanced machine learning techniques as a Data Scientist.
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in TensorFlow, PyTorch, or sci-kit-learn.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure and tools such as Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data mining.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
