Marcus Donald People are currently looking for a Data Engineer to join a well-known retail company, we are looking for someone that is strong with data integration and who has experience with support.

*£450 - £550 Outside IR35*
*6 months (rolling) contract, fully remote working*

As a Data Engineer, you will be joining their Data Analytics Team, this is an exciting opportunity to work with a small agile team on data from all different areas of their business. It will involve handling data pipelines, interfacing with AWS & Google cloud storage, data mining, and working closely with many different stakeholders.

Data Engineer – Technical Skills:

• 4+ years’ experience working as a data engineer within a product-focused organisation
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL
• Strong understanding of database design and management, including experience with NoSQL and relational databases
• Knowledge of data modeling and ETL (extract, transform, load) processes.
• Ability to design and implement data lakes and data warehouses.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS and GCP
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and QlikView
