Senior Python Developer

Marcus Donald are currently looking for a Senior Python Developer to join a popular Financial Services organisation within their beautiful offices in Poland!

* Open to either CoE or B2B & 100% remote working for Polish residents *

You will be joining a brand-new Agile team of research scientists, software developers, DevOps and QA engineers, to build cloud-based data science products.

Senior Python Developer – Responsibilities:

• Utilize effective design techniques for maintainability, testability, scalability, performance, security, etc
• Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies and algorithms to improve development efficiency
• Develop technical components for data deriving, and come up with standards
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies
• Experience working with data analysts and research analysts in developing robust, scalable, and maintainable data deriving solutions

Senior Python Developer – Technical Requirements

• 5+ Years of experience in application design, development, and testing for backend server development.
• Proficient in Advanced Python programming
• Experience working with Python, multi-threaded, complex, high-performance, techno-functional environment
• Experience in designing Python components
• Familiarity with Unix/Shell scripting and terraform for deployment
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets such as GitHub
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• CI/CD pipelines

Senior Python Developer – Desired Skills

• Experience in database design is nice to have
• Experience in web application development in the Cloud (AWS)
