Description
Marcus Donald are currently looking for an Financial Management Accountant (Management Reporting) to join a large/global Banking giant! You will be joining a team tasked with the responsible for the provision of Financial Management reporting.
We are looking for someone with their ACA / CPA or equivalent qualification; newly qualified and up to 1 or 2 years PQE.
Financial Management Accountant – Knowledge:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance
- General Banking Operations exposure such as good knowledge of Parent Company Policies & Procedures relating to accounting
- Knowledge of Management reporting systems including SmartView and FC.
- Awareness of PRA regulator
Financial Management Accountant – Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, together with commentary and variance analysis for London Management Committee and ALCO
- Responsible for preparing monthly P&L and Balance Sheet analysis
- Manage the month-end process
- Review month-end P&L variances
- Ensure monthly and quarterly Finance checklists signed off
- Provide detailed analysis of performance
- Quarterly geographical review of EMEA accounts
The business & team you’ll be joining really embrace technology so awareness and the overall want to work with he likes of PowerBI, Pivot Tables/databases is very much needed. This is a hybrid role so 3 days in the office (close to Liverpool Street) and 2 days from home.
