Applications & BI Analyst

Marcus Donald are currently looking for an Applications & BI Analyst to join a rapidly expanding BI team in a globally known media firm. You will be helping expand the company’s data operations at an exciting time of expansion.
 
** Hybrid role // 2-3 days in a Bristol-based Office **
** £300 - £400 per day // 6-month contract **
 
This is a key role within the corporate IT team responsible for supporting business functions in their day-to-day operations.
 
Applications & BI Analyst – Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in the procurement, implementation & integration of corporate information systems, help deliver associated data warehousing and BI/MI reporting solutions, and support users.
• Perform business analysis to help identify opportunities for new/enhanced systems, processes or reporting requirements
• Manage users, permissions, licensing, and configuration changes
• Work with BI team to action reporting & integration requests and changes
• Assist with project management of implementations, liaising with stakeholders and vendors through scoping, design, building, and delivery.

Applications & BI Analyst – Required:

• Excellent experience in information systems e.g., ERP, CRM, finance, HR from user and/or admin perspective
• Extensive experience with BI tools (e.g., SSRS, PowerBI, Tableau)
• Good Experience with SQL scripting and ETL processes (e.g., SSIS, ADF)

Applications & BI Analyst - Desired:

• Knowledge of any other programming languages (e.g VBA, HTML, PHP, Python)
