Description
Marcus Donald are looking to build and add to a huge cyberteam for a UK Based Managed Service Provider and are looking to speak with Cyber Security Analysts with at least 2 years commercial working experience on a SIEM tool (no preference of SIEM tool knowledge required).
Hybrid role (London Office)

Cyber Security Analyst - Requirements:
- Be willing to learn how to help customers to resolve technical issues
- Possess a detail-orientated mind, showing the ability to take a structured approach to procedures and working instructions
- Demonstrate the ability to dynamically assess risks, threats & threat actors for new and existing customers.
- 2+ years SIEM usage (any SIEM tool)
- Good verbal and written communication across the board
Cyber Security Analyst - Responsibilities:
- Monitor SIEM tools to detect suspicious events and abnormal activities, triage events for criticality
- Triage events through validating suspicious events and incidents by use of open- Monitor source and proprietary intelligence feeds
- Interfacing with our customers to resolve issues, provide additional information, and answer questions
- Document and managing incident cases to utilise information for customers reports to provide insight and intelligent recommendations
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to onboard customers onto our service
This is very exciting role and for the right person can offer a lot of growth. Commercial SIEM tool usage is a must however, that real passion for Cyber Security and the willingness to learn and grow within the business is most important!
