IT Support Engineer (MacOS)

Marcus Donald People are currently recruiting for an IT Support Engineer (MacOS) for a client within the Media & Advertisement space. This will predominately be a 1st Line / Helpdesk position and your responsibilities will be very first line focus whereas you will be involved in Support, project delivery & escalating to the 2nd & 3rd Line team where necessary.

This will be 100% office based role therefore, if you live close to either of the below sites then great - as they’re happy to have you based at either;

• North London (close to Enfield area)
• South London (close to Crystal Palace)
• South London (close to Biggin Hill)

IT Support Engineer (MacOS) – Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st line support for desktops and application support for Mac users, Windows users, and network issues
• Maintain logs of all support issues in the service desk application
• Initiate, co-ordinate and escalate internal support tickets
• Create and maintain new and existing systems documentation
• Scheduling and performing builds of Apple workstations
• Resolve warranty hardware replacements by liaising with suppliers/manufacturers

IT Support Engineer (MacOS) – Technical:

• Minimum experience of 5 years working in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Customer Service and Technical skills required
• A solid knowledge of Mac OS and experience of managing Macs
• Proficient in the applications which make up the Adobe Creative Suite of products, in order to support designers
• Exchange/O365 administration
• Imaging laptops and desktops
• Networking – basic troubleshooting experience required
