Software Developer

Marcus Donald is currently looking for a highly motivated Software Developer for a large construction company in London, you will be joining their technology department team working with Microsoft technologies across the complete development lifecycle.

* 6-month contract – 36 hours a week – £400 - £500 Outside IR35 *
** Hybrid Working – 1 - 2 days a week in London office** 

You will as part of this role, you will provide design, development, and 2nd/3rd/4th line support for all RICS applications. They also want someone that is willing to push themselves as well as the team around them.

Software Developer – responsibilities:

• Develop solutions and enhancements according to functional requirements, using RICS and industry best practices and coding standards, ensuring a continuous improvement approach to meet ongoing business requirements
• Provide bug fixes as required
• Liaise closely with programme managers, project managers and business analysts to translate business requirements into system configurations and functional enhancements, for review by peers
• Ensure that design documents, release notes and related documentation are clear and complete
• Assist with data migration tasks, including providing support for the mapping and loading of data
• To peer review designs, code, or documentation
• Production of well designed, well coded, efficient, and functional solutions that meet the identified customer needs
• sure, diligent unit and integration testing and that all associated documentation is correct

software developer required Skills:

• 2+ years’ development experience in a Microsoft environment
• 2+ years’ experience in C# and .NET
• Visual Studio
• Microsoft ASP.NET MVC
• JavaScript/TypeScript
• Bootstrap and CSS
