Description
Marcus Donald are currently looking for a .NET Developer to join a large government organization in Cardiff. You will support a Technical Team Leader, and the wider team developing and maintaining the delivery of digital solutions and services. Working closely within a formal delivery team providing a technical and application perspective throughout, in an agile manner.
* Fulltime permanent – 36 hours a week – £30,000 to £43,000*
** Hybrid Working – 1 day minimum a month in Cardiff office**

.NET Developer - Required skills:
- Microsoft .NET (C#)
- SQL Server Development
- Entity Framework
- ASP.Net MVC
- Writing unit and integration tests
- Continuous Integration, build and deployment automation
- API development
.NET Developer - Responsibilities:
- To work as part of a team with Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Automation Testers, and the IT Infrastructure team to develop and deliver functionality for key business applications
- Working with project managers, technical leads and subject matter experts to development, maintain, and support of key scheme applications
- Develop and deliver complete user stories, and their relative tests
- Create and deploy release candidates to relevant environments
- Create and maintain Technical documentation of key business applications
- Diagnosis of faults
- Technical ownership of application requirements
- Writing and maintain unit and integration tests
- Working with Build and release pipelines
- Write code according to standards, and security review tools
