Description

Marcus Donald are currently looking for an IT Business Analyst to join a key client, a market leader within the Education sector. This is a key hire to join a newly formed Change Team in its delivery of a high profile & commercially critical, business transformation programme.** Hybrid working **The business is going through a period of Change, and this includes a NEW CRM implementation therefore, experience of successfully delivering a CRM at a previous company is highly advantageous.IT Business Analyst – Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and analyse user and business needs, ensuring change outcomes are aligned with the product vision and business strategy
  • Contribute to the link between current and future business models
  • Responsible for eliciting detailed requirements and design processes
  • Helping teams transition from “as is” to the “to be” state while the business implements a new technology solution and ways of working
  • Produce all documentation against standardised templates agreed across the business to be best practice
  • Constructively challenge and act as a critical friend to optimise productive communication with all stakeholders to support strategy, design, and delivery

IT Business Analyst – Experience:

  • Understanding of different delivery models including Waterfall and Agile
  • Proven understanding, at a high level, of the organisation IT applications so that you can provide context when engaging with business stakeholders
  • Produce quality business process analysis by analysing, designing and documenting workflows
  • GAP analysis
  • Elicit and document high and low-level requirements, securing their sign off from all parties
  • Excellent relationship building skills, as you are the glue that brings together programme workstreams, internal customers and technical teams
  • Proactive stakeholder management

IT Business Analyst – Desired:

  • Experience of writing user stories with Gherkin
  • A formal Business Analyst certification
  • Verifiable experience working with the development team to articulate the requirements
  • An understanding of test approaches and experience in supporting testing activities, including development and execution of test scripts
