Senior .NET Developer

Marcus Donald are looking for a .NET Developer to join a very popular organisation that will allow you the chance of being responsible for the end-to-end software development life cycle of products and services from initial scoping, through Agile DevOps lifecycle.

You will be 100% supported with DevOps related progression within your career and Certifications will be provided (such as, AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions).

Experience working within an Agile environment is important.

** Fully remote / Home Based **

.NET Developer – Responsibilities:

• Develop and support technology products and digital services
• Develop and maintain critical Product features
• Working closely within the Agile DevOps team to suggest improvements to the architecture of the applications
• Ensuring that all developed code is tested, workflow adhered to, and deployment activities are completed
• Technical application accountability and ownership

.NET Developer – Technical Required:

• Demonstrable experience of software development lifecycle
• Strong experience in developing online applications or websites
• Expertise in frameworks like (.NET, WCF)
• Experience in using ASP.NET Core
• Good understanding of MVC and other similar frameworks
• Good understanding of MS SQL
• Experience of working with or knowledge of Agile software development methodologies

.NET Developer – Desirable:

• Significant demonstrable experience supporting PaaS IaaS, or Public Cloud Environments
• Experience of use version control techniques (GIT/VSTS)
• Experience in using development tools Azure DevOps
• Experience in using Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Experience in administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab or Jenkins
• Experience working with container orchestration services like Kubernetes
