L2 SOC Analyst

Marcus Donald are looking to build and add to a Cyber Security team and are looking to speak with Security Analysts with at least 6 months commercial working experience on a SIEM tool (no preference of SIEM tool knowledge required).

Hybrid role - Must be London Based!

SOC Analyst - Technical Experience Required:

• Demonstrate an interest in Cyber Security
• Vulnerability Management
• SIEM usage (any SIEM tool)
• Good communication
• Familiarity of Microsoft technologies

SOC Analyst - Responsibilities:

• Provide protection against cyber attacks and cyber terrorism
• Monitor networks and systems to detect, analyse and report on events and threats
• Monitoring SIEM to detect suspicious events
• Develop, build and implement use cases within SIEM
• Provie incident management through effective monitoring

This is very exciting role and for the right person can offer a lot of growth. Commercial SIEM tool usage is a must however, that real passion for Cyber Security and the willingness to learn and grow within the business is most important!
