Data Protection Manager

Marcus Donald and I are looking to speak to an experienced Data Protection professional with GDPR experience to join a 6-month contract, inside IR35 We are working with a large banking client looking to expand their team in London.

Although the Head Office is in London, this role is offering a hybrid working balance.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone to be given more responsibility while also being able to show off their Data Protection knowledge for a well-known firm that offers amazing benefits, which include:

Data Protection Officer – Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Company’s UK GDPR’s compliance activities
• Advising and investigating potential Data Protection Breaches
• Respond to DSARs and DPIAs
• Ensure data breaches are investigated and remedial actions are taken
• Ensure the compliance of policies with applicable laws and regulations

Data Protection Manager – Required:

• 5 years’ experience in Data Protection
• An in-depth knowledge of Data Protection laws
• Comprehensive knowledge of GDPR / FOI
• Experience of providing Data Protection and compliance advice
• Experience in leading people directly
