Description

Marcus Donald are working with an amazing charity with beautiful offices in the City of London who are looking for a Global Procurement Specialist.

  • This is an incredible opportunity for a Procurement Specialist looking to move into more of a Lead role, to really stimulate their career progression or;
  • An experienced Procurement Lead to build upon their knowledge, grow and ultimately ‘give back’ by working for an amazing charitable organisation!

You will be responsible for the implementation and adoption of Global Procurement processes to be used by all users within the 40+ supported territories therefore, knowledge of Incoterms is important here.

The Procurement services extend across five continents; Europe, Oceania, Asia, Africa, and South America.

Global Procurement Specialist - Experience & Knowledge Required:

  • Good understanding of international and national standards for Tax, Customs, and shipping purposes
  • Good understanding of Incoterms and the intricacies between them
  • Strong awareness of Supply Chain management and operations
  • Previously prepared budgets, cost models, and analysis for management reporting

Global Procurement Specialist - Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Working with global partners & suppliers
  • Coordinate the timely delivery of IT hardware to Territories (zero IT knowledge is required)
  • Consistently ensure appropriate registration and customs forms have been completed and returned
  • Develop a global procurement initiative by defining roles and responsibilities clearly for all aspects of the procurement life cycle
  • Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records

Due to the initial complexity of the role, the team you will be required to liaise with and business upskilling necessary, you will need to commute into the London offices near St Paul’s (at least 3 days per week) however, further flexible working is available thereafter.
