Infrastructure Analyst

Marcus Donald and I are looking for an Infrastructure Analyst with minimum 4 years’ experience to join our client within the Media space who have long-term partnerships with some of the largest & popular brands across the globe.

Due to recent success, they are currently growing their team and need a Systems Analyst with good Infrastructure experience; Windows Server - such as upgrading Windows Server systems.

Although the head office is based in Hertfordshire, they are offering a hybrid home/office split with a lot of flexibility available.

Infrastructure Analyst – Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting, installing, maintaining and delivery of a wide range of IT Systems
• Working within a multi-site enterprise IT environment supporting 1000 users
• IT infrastructure project delivery
• Assist with the only going evolution of the network
• Assist with IT support across the company for various technologies
• Work with Infrastructure Director to ensure the correct infrastructure is in place for hosted applications
• Work with the Infrastructure Director to ensure applications and systems are configured correctly and patched / updated to required levels

Infrastructure Analyst – Essential:

• Configuration and support of Windows servers within VMWare vSphere environment
• Monitoring of network infrastructure (with native & 3rd party tools like PRTG and Wireshark)
• Continue to make IT systems highly available and fault tolerant
• Provide technical support for Microsoft servers and desktops
• Desktop and server patch management
• Administrative support telephony systems

Infrastructure Analyst – Desirable:

• Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, SQL, Python)
• Security services such as our FortiGate firewalls and also NAC
• Experience managing firewalls
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft/VMWare/CCNA/ITIL/Prince2)
