Description
Marcus Donald are currently looking for a Cyber Security Engineer with good Incident Response and Forensics experience to join a well-known Telecommunications organisation.
My client is looking for someone who is passionate about what they do and believe in their vision.
This position is offering a 95% remote WFH situation, so allowing for you to rarely ever go into the office! The office is based in the South of England, so being nearby in say Sussex, Surrey, Kent or Hampshire would suit best.

Cyber Security Engineer - Responsibilities / Technical Abilities:
- Extensive experience of detection and response to information security threats
- Ability to establish countermeasures to contain information security threats
- Familiarity with common techniques used by malware and attack frameworks
- Incident Response - Support functions with the adoption of solutions to identify threats, react to security incidents and deliver a coordinated response
- Maintain robust threat and incident mitigating controls
- Implement and operate threat and vulnerability detection, response and protection capabilities
- Computer Forensics, Malware Analysis, Data Breaches, Supply Chain Incidents, Physical Security Attack
Cyber Security Engineer – Tooling Used:
AlienVault USM, Azure Defender and 0365, Nessus/Tenable, Mimecast, ServiceNow
Cyber Security Engineer – Desired:
- One of the following certifications CSIR, CEH, CCSA/CCSP, CCNA/CCDP/CCNP, Comp TIA Security
- Good knowledge and usage of SIEM tool (s)
- Can evaluate and interpret penetration tests
