Description

Marcus Donald are looking for a 1st / 2nd Service Desk Analystto join a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) in Berkshire.

**This role is based near Slough – Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days from home)**

Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to: 1st / 2nd Service Desk Analyst

  • Day to day desktop support of our clients (70%)
  • Maintenance of Monitoring and Proactive Management Systems (15%)
  • Server Migration Projects (5%)
  • Initial client consultancy and design (5%)
  • Onsite visits (5%)

Skills required (Personal): 1st / 2nd Service Desk Analyst

  • 2-3 years’ experience of working a helpdesk at 2nd line
  • Excellent customer service with a willingness to help and solve problems
  • A self-starter willing to take ownership of tasks is essential for this role
  • Well-presented and professional
  • Ability to write concise documentation
  • A driving license is essential for occasions when a site visit is required

Skills required (Technical): 1st / 2nd Service Desk Analyst

  • Office 365 and Azure administration and troubleshooting
  • Understanding and proven experience with Windows server and desktop support
  • Understanding of the common Backup (including Veeam) and Anti-Virus products (mainly Sophos)
  • Understanding of networking technologies; firewalls ect…
  • Desktop troubleshooting including Outlook, printer, login and local computer problems

You will be working in a small team providing support to amazing local clients, ensuring that SLAs are met, and the helpdesk function runs smoothly.
