Active Directory Specialist

Marcus Donald are working with a popular Government organisation who are looking for an Active Directory Specialist, ideally with a Security mindset (PAM).

WFH / 100% remote & an initial 3 month contract (view to extend).

IR35 status: Inside IR35

This is an exciting role for someone with good data management experience, to be a key figure within a very important Active Directory clean-up project - over 1000 accounts. We are looking for someone with an understanding and inquisitive nature to collaborate with the business technically to utilise their AD, PAM & Excel skills.

Responsibilities & Job Role:

• Complete a project focused on Active Directory & PAM
• Data management (Excel)
• Translate business needs to IT solutions and vice versa
• Update new password policy in line with business compliance
• Plan/coordinate, and implement security measures to regulate access and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction or disclosure of information
• Identify accounts within Active Directory that need password rotation
• Understand and coordinate value and risk centered around valued users

Technical Skills Required:

• Excellent Active Directory knowledge
• Good experience with Privilege Access Management tooling
• Strong Microsoft Excel competence
• Privileged User Access Reviews
• Understanding of access management with Windows OS
• Good written and oral communication
• Technical understanding & detail oriented with a security focused mindset
