Information Security Officer

Marcus Donald are currently looking for a determined and driven individual to work as an Information Security Officer within an illustrious security function based within the financial sector.

My clients office is based within the City of London and the role is hybrid in regards to remote working. We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated individual to help build out the GRC part of their information security team.

Information Security Officer – Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and understanding of security policies, audits, governance, and risk compliance frameworks including industry and security best practices, for example, ISO27001/PSD2/PCI DSS.
• Coordinating internal and external reviews for security frameworks e.g PCI-DSS
• Creating, reviewing and maintaining security policy, standards and procedures
• Running security processes
• Desired knowledge of networking technologies and technical security controls
• Work alongside management to report security status and events
• Implement new ways to improve security across the business

Information Security Officer - What You’ll Need:

• Very good understanding of PCI-DSS, PSD2, GDPR and other compliance and regulatory frameworks
• An ability to automate and script your work, e.g. python, bash scripts
• Have a good understanding of the technology stack
• Understanding of information security and related principles
• At least 5 years of experience in the Information Security field
• A natural tendency to notice the small things
• Strong Problem solving skills
