SOC Analyst – Fully Remote (UK Based).
£55,000 - £65,000

Marcus Donald are working with a market leading Cyber Security Consultancy and are now actively looking for a highly experienced and qualified SOC Analyst to join. This SOC Analyst role will be an essential member of the Security Operation Centre providing 24/7 monitoring of SIEM systems logs and events.

Technical Understandings – SOC Analyst:

• Understanding of IR methodologies
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
• SIEM tools – Splunk, DataDog, LogRhythm, QRadar
• Knowledge in Linux / Windows
• Understanding of programming language including Python, Ruby, PHP, C, C#, and Java

Essential requirements – SOC Analyst:

• Minimum 3+ years in Cyber Security
• Generate contingency plans for realistic and damaging scenarios
• Experience in cyber threat detection and prevention
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches and firewalls
• Ability to read and understand system data, including, security event logs, system logs, and firewall logs.
