QA Analyst (Automated)

Marcus Donald are currently looking for a QA Analyst (Automated) to join a well–established firm, within the heart of the City. Upon a successful interview, you will be joining a team full of hard-working and motivated QA Analysts who are highly trained and skilled. A team who work very closely with an amazing team of Developers and Scrum Masters!

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you would be expected to bring your knowledge and experience to the team and implement it into the various different projects. 

Responsibilities – QA Analyst (Automated):

• Work with the QA Manager and team to create and agree on test strategy, plans, and coverage from project kick-off
• You have experience with manual and automated testing at story level
• You have experience implementing automated end-to-end tests, experience with frameworks and tools such as TDD/BDD, Selenium and the ability to code (any language; ideally JavaScript or Python)
• Define, create and execute test cases alongside other engineers
• You will be organizing training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• You will be providing clear feedback on all of the QA checks completed.
• You will be providing effective communication with stakeholders.
• You will have to adapt to learning new technology delivery processes.

Essential skills – QA Analyst (Automated):

• Will need strong experience when it comes to writing and executing detailed end-to-end automated test cases
• You will need excellent organizational skills and communication skills to be able to work with others
• Have at least 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst

Desirable Skills – QA Analyst (Automated):

• Have experience in testing web-based applications
• Have some experience in API test automation
• Experience in performance testing
