Software Engineer (.Net)

Marcus Donald is currently looking for a Software Engineer to join a fast paced team with a market leading estate agency.

The Software Engineer will be working with a team including a QA Analyst, a Data Analyst, a Product Owner, a Business Analyst, 3rd party software vendors, and other technology and digital specialists to ensure key systems and projects for the company are scoped, agreed, developed, tested, and delivered. 

You will be a key part of the Agile project team rebuilding the organisations internally developed and supported software.

The role is intended to evolve, incorporating support for new and existing internal software, exploring how the company can further iterate and refine within our software stable to serve both internal users and external customers.

Technical Skills – Software Engineer:

• .Net Core
• TypeScript/Angular 2+
• MS SQL Server
• RESTful APIs
• Familiar with CI/CD
• Experience with formal unit testing methodologies

Essential Skills – Software Engineer:

• A background in developing, managing, maintaining and enhancing inhouse built software products across the full stack
• Troubleshoot and resolve support issues
• Able to release code to staging and production environments
• Collaborate with the wider team in sprint planning activities
• Iterate on existing functionality to constantly improve and refine UI, functionality, and code quality

Desired Skills – Software Engineer:

• Azure technologies including Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Functions (will also consider AWS experience)
• Elasticsearch and Kibana
• Experience with Infrastructure as code
