SOC Analyst

What they are looking to do is create a whole new team and start a new branch within their company. So, it is not like your taking someone else’s job, you are simply going to be part of a new and growing team.

My client is looking for someone that is comfortable in a team, excellent written and verbal communications, as well as someone that can suggest different options and ways in how to solve problems the most efficient way. My client at the monent is working in the office 2/3 times a week and they are looking at going back into the office in the futire but this wont be until next year at the moment.

Technical skills – SOC Analyst

• Experience working with SIEM tools
• Knowledge of TCP/IP
• Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions
• Experience in threat identification and response
• In-depth security knowledge of various operating system flavors including but not limited to Linux, MacOS, Windows

Essential skills – SOC Analyst

• Assess the breach to reach the root cause
• Perform internal and external security audits
• Be able assess and find flaws
• Provide clearly written and easy to read steps

Desirable skills – SOC Analyst

• One or more from: CompTIA A+ and/or CompTIA N+, CompTIA Security+, GSEC, GCIH, GCIA, CEH, OSCP, SSCP, CCENT, CCNA, CCNA Security.
• Strong attention to detail
• A genuine enthusiasm and drive to work within Cyber Security
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
