My banking client is in a rapidly growing and exciting market, they are top of their field and are looking to expand their SOC team, they are looking for a SOC Analyst to ensure that they are protected and that they find the best person to join their team.

My Clients Security Operations Center is currently working in the office Monday to Friday, in Central London. They are looking to stay that way for the forcible future, they believe that working in the office is better as it allows for people to get out again and rejoin the working world.

Technical Skills – SOC Analyst

  • Range of experience with programming Languages such as Python, Ruby, Java & C++.
  • To have Sysadmin skills and knowledge of windows and Linux.
  • Comprehensive experience using SIEM tooling operation or administration (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack, QRadar).
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP.

Essential Skills – SOC Analyst

  • Ability to demonstrate vital incident response plans.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Contribute to the processes and policies that scale our organization as we grow.
  • Ability to read and understand system data, including, but not limited to, security event logs, system logs, and firewall logs.
  • Experience in cyber threat detection and prevention.

Desirable Skills – SOC Analyst

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of the constant developments in the information security industry. 
  • Able to take responsibility for your own work.
  • Up to date knowledge on the constant and developments in the information security industry.
