Marcus Donald is working with a big financial firm and now have an exciting opportunity for an individual to become a part of their Cyber team. This includes several strategic programs to deliver the amazing technology and business solutions to support their ambitious global growth plans. The vacancy is a permanent opportunity with the ideal candidate being experienced and highly motivated subject specialist to continue their development and work on innovative security control technology.

Incident Response Analyst - Technical understandings:

  • Deliver detailed, constructive, and formatted IR reports documenting the detection & response required for internal stakeholders, external authorities (ICO, NCSC, NCA) and auditors
  • Experience with programming or scripting, including PowerShell, Bash, Python, and Perl
  • Relevant incident response or information security certifications, such as SANS GCIA, SANS GCIH, SANS GCFA, SANS GNFA, Offensive Security OSCP
  • Monitors, analyses, and investigates the SIEM solution and Endpoint Detection and Response events for Tier 1 (triage), Tier 2 (responder), and Tier 3 (hunting) support

Incident Response Analyst - Essential requirements:

  • A good working knowledge of a variety of security technologies, including network and application firewalls, host-intrusion prevention, and anti-virus
  • Practical knowledge of the Cyber Security threat landscape and current affairs
  • Experience with enterprise security solutions, virus outbreak management, and the ability to differentiate virus activity from directed attack patterns
  • Excellent communication at all levels
  • Produce contingency plans for realistic scenarios
