Description

Marcus Donald are currently looking to source a very senior figure within a globally known organisation in Luxembourg. We are looking for a Technology Executive - Associate Partner / Partner on a permanent basis with very flattering salary and package offerings.

The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Head of Advisory and will predominately be responsible for Technology Advisory on behalf of the Banking and Insurance sector under Management Consulting and Regulatory services.

The IT advisory department help clients to align IT operations to strategic and financial business objectives. You will be working with clients to analyze business technology issues within their businesses such as: developing an appropriate IT strategy, optimizing the IT function, selecting and implementing IT systems, helping with Data Management & Governance or Cyber security matter.

Naturally remote working is available for the initial period however, the availability to work from the Luxembourg office in the near future is required.

We are ideally looking for candidates living and working within an EU member state already. Relocation assistance will be supported by the client and Marcus Donald People.

Technology Executive - Associate Partner / Partner: The Role & Responsibilities:

  • Proven track-record IT back round of successfully creating category strategies, leading and executing sourcing projects within the Technology category to deliver quality, service risk and commercial benefits across the spectrum of IT software (purchase, development, support), hardware & infrastructure (End User Services, Server/Storage, Data Centre & Cloud), services (applications development, support & maintenance, integration services etc.) and Network.
  • Significant strategy consulting experience from a recognized consulting firm, or relevant experience in a medium/large corporate or scale up digital business working on a wide range of high profile strategic digital challenges
  • Strong knowledge and technical skills in relevant industries (any one of Insurance, Banking, Corporate, Public Sector, Asset Management or Alternative Investment)
  • Building global relationships and actively seeking out the global networks best experts to address client needs
  • Communicating compelling and well thought out solutions to complex problems
  • Building constructive working relationships across different teams, functions, countries or cultures
  • Develop and own senior level executive relationships with clients
  • Develop and own market facing propositions, to drive revenue development for the practice

You will have three key areas of responsibility:

  • CLIENT DELIVERY: Manage complex, multi-stakeholder advisory services for client’s technology transformation journey
  • MARKET DEVELOPMENT: Contribute to developing our market growth in technology advisory
  • CAPABILITY DEVELOPMENT: Contribute to developing your people

Advantageous:

  • French speaking however, fluent English is OK.
