Senior DevOps Engineer

Marcus Donald are working with a Financial Services company based in London that are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer. This individual be responsible for the overall DevOps function within the business, the continuous enhancements of their complex AWS Infrastructure and working on several in-house projects.

The successful candidate will have a Software Development background as well as extensive experience working on the AWS platform, ideally in the Financial Services sector.

Key responsibilities for the Senior DevOps Engineer

• Hands on development of AWS Infrastructure
• Building and deploying CI/CD pipeline
• BAU focus on complex environment
• Assisting Dev team on in-house and client facing projects

Key skill for the Senior DevOps Engineer

• Extensive hands on AWS – EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Kinesis
• AWS CloudFormation, AWS SAM (Serverless Application Model), AWS CodeDeploy, AWS CodePipline, TeamCity
• Coding - NET Framework including C#, .NET or VB.NET
• Powershell/Python scripting skills.
• Networking - VPC Configuration/VPC Peering, Route53 DNS Configuration, ELB, Auto Scaling
• Full SDLC
• Strong communicator

Advantageous skills for the Senior DevOps Engineer

• SQL Server
• Financial Services sector experience
