Description
Cyber Security Analyst (Remote Work)
Marcus Donald are searching for a Cyber Security Analyst to join a client in North London – With this being said, remote work is available, and you will only be required to travel to the London office once a fortnight.
In this role you will take responsibility for daily threat hunting, SIEM monitoring, have internal & external business conversations, look after security questionnaires and work alongside the Application & Operation teams assisting in their migration over to AWS.
With this role you will need to be an effective communicator and very proactive in your work as well as have experience previously running a Vulnerability Management Program.
Key Skills for Cyber Security Analyst
- Vulnerability management (Qualys)
- SIEM Tools (AlienVault Preferable)
- Data Loss Prevention tools
- Security Troubleshooting
- GDPR (Knowledge)
- Firewalls (Knowledge)
- AWS (Desirable)
Key Responsibilities for Cyber Security Analyst
- Conversate about security questionnaires
- Work alongside several teams and understand their needs
- Check logs
- Maintaining Cyber Essentials accreditation
- Rolling out of Data Loss Prevention tools
- Assisting in migration from Data Centers to AWS (Almost complete)
- Security troubleshooting
- Monitoring, identifying and remediating security threats and executing responses
- Working proactively in ensuring systems are secure and scanning any possible vulnerabilities
