Technology PMO ManagerMarcus Donald are currently recruiting for a Technology PMO Manager to join a charity based in central London. As a Technology PMO Manager your role will be to establish, develop and manage the new Technology Project Management Office (PMO) for the client. The role will line manage IT technology Project Managers and Business Analysts, as well as plan, report and manage risks, issues and interdependencies across the technology portfolio. Key Tasks and Responsibilities The key responsibilities of the role are:
Establish a new Technology PMO for the client.Design, implement and advise on project controls and associated templates for the Technology portfolio of projects and aligning these to other project controls already in use at their office.Set up and operate efficient and consistent portfolio reporting against all Technology projects addressing both qualitative and quantitative aspects of projects to support governance decision makingCreate and maintain a Technology PMO SharePoint site providing news, information and project resources that supports or references the Technology Portfolio and is aligned to other PMO or project functions within the business – e.g. the IFAS projectEnsure all Technology projects have appropriate and consistent governance structures and that governance is active and continuousWorking alongside the CIO, create Technology Portfolio updates and internal communications for governance bodies (e.g. Risk & Management Committee) and for publication internally on SharePoint or TEAMSSupport the HQ-IT and all departments with Technology enabled Business Change projects to adopt and operate project methodologies and to use the correct project control templatesReview the Technology portfolio to identify and report risks, issues, conflicts and interdependencies, and to ensure these are addressed appropriatelyIdentify and establish links with external project practice communities and bring in appropriate best project practice to TSAOnce the PMO is fully established, Identify how to extend this practice and reach across supported territories in the Shared TenantWorking with project managers and the Service Transition Manager to ensure projects transition into Business As UsualWorking with project managers and business leads, ensure that there are clear mechanisms in place for measuring and reporting against project benefits as projects transition into Business As Usual
