  • Pay: £500 - £550

  • Working Pattern: Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office
  • Contract Length: 12 months

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Actions Associate to join a leading global financial services organisation within its Asset Servicing Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong corporate actions expertise to support a growing and dynamic capital markets business.

The RoleWorking as part of a specialist Corporate Actions team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of a wide range of corporate action events, primarily across equity instruments. You will work closely with trading desks, operations teams, finance functions and external counterparties to ensure the accurate and timely processing of elections and entitlements.

Required Experience

  • Solid experience within Asset Servicing operations.
  • Previous' experience specialising in voluntary corporate actions.
  • Experience gained within a bank, broker-dealer or financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of voluntary election processing and event arbitrage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with Gloss, GlobalOne and IM Actions is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach to work.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience supporting Prime Brokerage clients.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • Previous involvement in operational change, transformation or technology projects.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full corporate actions lifecycle, from announcement capture through to entitlement reconciliation.
  • Process a broad range of mandatory and voluntary corporate actions.
  • Liaise daily with front office, operations, finance teams and external counterparties.
  • Monitor and resolve cash and stock reconciliation breaks.
  • Support business-as-usual activities within a small, collaborative team environment.
  • Contribute to operational change initiatives and system enhancement projects.
  • Identify process improvements, mitigate operational risk and recommend practical solutions.
  • Assist in maintaining high levels of control, accuracy and service delivery.
